The business relied heavily on manual phone and email orders. While workable at smaller scale, this approach became increasingly inefficient as order volume grew.
Processing orders required significant internal resource. Customer service teams were manually checking pricing, validating permissions and inputting orders into the ERP system. This created delays and unnecessary administrative overhead.
User error was also a growing issue. Incorrect product selections, pricing mismatches and inconsistent approvals led to frustration and a higher-than-desired rate of returns.
Access and governance added further complexity. Customers needed clear control over who could place orders and what products they were authorised to purchase. Without a structured digital system, approval challenges became difficult to manage.

Built a Dedicated B2B Ordering Portal
We designed and developed a bespoke B2B ordering portal to replace phone and email-based processes. The platform was built around the client’s operational model, creating a streamlined, intuitive ordering experience for corporate customers.
Integrated Seamlessly with NetSuite
The portal integrates directly with NetSuite, syncing products, pricing and orders in real time. This removed the need for manual rekeying and ensured complete data accuracy across systems.
Complex customer structures, pricing tiers and approval hierarchies are all managed within the client’s NetSuite ERP, maintaining full control while improving speed and reliability. There are upwards of 1 million SKU’s pulled into our portal.

We introduced structured user permissions, allowing organisations to define who can view products, place orders or approve purchases.
Each user sees a tailored product catalogue based on their role, eliminating governance issues and significantly reducing approval friction.

Hosted on AWS, the portal adjusts to demand and provides fast, reliable and secure access. Customers can log in and place orders 24/7 from anywhere in the world.

Today, the platform processes 90% of all orders, transacting multi millions of pounds per year through a fully integrated and automated system.
