The Client

As a globally recognised brand, selling premium handmade cookies online and in multiple stores worldwide, Ben’s Cookies approached us with the need for a modern, user-friendly website design to improve their customer experience and streamline their backend processes, to better reflect their growth as an international brand.

The Challenge

Their current website had become a bit of a “patchwork quilt” of old plugins and difficult-to-use integrations, which created challenges for both staff and, more importantly, their customers.

More specifically they required an updated, refreshed online presence with a more intuitive shopping experience to help drive online sales, and one that could serve multiple locations and process online orders efficiently.

What We Did

Our web design team took an in-depth approach to planning the new buying process.

Mapping the user journey

Using Figma, we mapped out every step of the user journey, from landing on the homepage through to completing a purchase.

The main objective was to simplify the buying process and create a smoother, faster, and more enjoyable shopping experience for Ben’s Cookies’ global customer base.

Maintaining brand identity

With long-established brand guidelines, we had to maintain the core elements of Ben’s Cookies’ fun and recognisable identity, while modernising the site for improved functionality and user experience.

Seamless integrations

Redcat Gift Card and Zenstores systems also had to be integrated seamlessly into the build, ensuring smooth operation for both online and in-store transactions.

Our strategy prioritised ease of use for both customers and the Ben’s Cookies team, incorporating a user-friendly WooCommerce platform that simplified site management and order fulfilment across their international store locations.

The Results

The new Ben’s Cookies website now looks just as tasty as their cookies, with a modernised look and feel and an easy-to-manage back end – whilst its enhanced user journey means buying a box of cookies (or two, or three) is a breeze!
